SSCOBA Donates a Multi-Parameter Patient Monitor to Panadura Base Hospital Worth Rs 275,000 to Battle with COVID-19
Old Boys’ Association of Sri Sumangala College (SSCOBA) donated a Multi-Parameter Patient Monitor to Panadura Base Hospital to support their fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. We take this opportunity to thank Dr. Indrani Godakanda, Medical Superintendent of the Panadura Base Hospital, and Dr. Wasantha Malalasekara for providing guidance to SSCOCBA.
SSCOBA Treasurer Mr. Dinesh Ketiparachchi and the Exco Member Mr. Rajeev Fernando handed over the Multi-Parameter Patient Monitor to the Panadura Base Hospital.
Complying with its social responsibility, SSCOBA, under the leadership of the current President Mr. Mahesh Fonseka supported the community by implementing many projects during the pandemic.

Ministry of Justice’s Lawnet website published the ordinance issued on 08th, December, 1945 to incorporate a Board of Management of the Sri Sumangala College and Schools, Panadura. 99th Annual General Meeting of SSCOBA has been postponed
99th Annual General Meeting of SSCOBA has been postponed considering the pandemic conditions due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The date of the AGM will be informed to all the members at the earliest, once the authorities switch on the green light to hold such an event. We have emailed all our members the annual audited financial statement of SSCOBA as of 31/12/2020.

SSC Group of 2007 donates Rs 120,000 to support upgrading Mr. Dhanushka Sanjaya Fernando’s Children’s Cochlear Processing Units
SSCOBA is pleased to announce that we have been touched by the “Sri Sumangala College Group of 2007”. We are very fortunate to facilitate a generous donation of Rs.120,000/- from the 2007 group to enable the mission of upgrading Cochlear Processing Units of our old boy & Exco member Mr. Dhanushka Sanjaya Fernando’s daughter and son.
SSC Group of 2007 are the Sumangalians who did their Grade 5 Scholarship in 1998, O/Ls in 2004 & A/Ls in 2007.
All of us at SSCOBA are grateful for this donation and we thank the SSC Group of 2007 for doing their part to enhance the lives of these 02 innocent children.

අප ආදී ශිෂ්ය කේ. ධනුෂ්ක සංජය ප්රනාන්දු මහතා වර්තමානයේ අප සංගමයේ විධායක සභිකයෙකු ලෙස කටයුතු කරනු ලබයි. එසේම ඔහු පාසලේ බාලදක්ෂ කණ්ඩායමේ ස්වේච්ඡා ගුරුවරයෙකු ලෙස සහ ශිෂ්ය භට කණ්ඩායමේ ස්වේච්ඡා පුහුණුකරුවෙකු ලෙසද කටයුතු කරයි.
ඔහුගේ දරුවන් තිදෙනාගෙන් බාල දරුවන් දෙදෙනා උත්පත්තියෙන් උග්ර ශ්රවණාබාධයක් සහිත දරුවන් දෙදෙනෙකු වන අතර ඔවුන් දැනට භාවිතා කරන ශ්රවණාධාර උපකරණ නිෂ්පාදනය නවත්වා ඇති බැවින් ඔවුන්ට ඉතා ඉක්මණින් නව යන්ත්ර ලබා ගත යුතු බවට වික්රමාරච්චි ආයතනය පවසා ඇත. එක් දරුවෙකුගේ යන්ත්රයක් සඳහා රුපියල් ලක්ෂ විසි හතරක් (ලක්ෂ 24) වැය වන අතර දරුවන් දෙදෙනාම සඳහා ලක්ෂ 48ක් බව එම ආයතනය ලිපියක් මගින් සඳහන් කර ඇත.
මෙම විශාල මුදල සොයා ගැනීම සඳහා ආදී ශිෂ්ය සංගමයේ සහයෝගය ඉල්ලා ලිපියක් ඔහු ඉදිරිපත් කල අතර විධායක සභාවේ අනුමැතිය මත එම ලිපිය සහ අදාල ලියකියවිලි මෙසේ අප ඉදිරිපත් කරන්නෙමු.
දරුවන් දෙදෙනා වෙනුවෙන් මෙම ශ්රවණාධාර යන්ත්ර මිලදී ගැනීමට ඔබ සැමගේ සහයෝගය ඔහු විසින් බලාපොරොත්තු වන අතර මේ සඳහා ලැබෙන ආධාර මුදල් ඔහුගේ ගිණුමට හෝ වික්රමාරච්චි ආයතනයේ දරුවන්ගේ නමින් සෘජුව තැන්පත් කර එම ලදු පත ඔහු හට ලැබෙන්නට සලස්වන වන මෙන් ඔහු ඉල්ලා සිටිනු ලැබේ.
මේ සඳහා උදව් උපකාර කරන ලෙස ආදී ශිෂ්ය සංගමය ලෙස අපි ඔබ සැමගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටිමු.

SSCOBA Donates 02 Patient Transfer Trolleys to Panadura Base Hospital Worth Rs 200,000 to Battle with COVID-19
Old Boys’ Association of Sri Sumangala College (SSCOBA) donated two Patient Transfer Trolleys to Panadura Base Hospital to support their fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. We take this opportunity to thank Dr. Indrani Godakanka, Medical Superintendent of the Panadura Base Hospital, and Dr. Wasantha Malalasekara for providing guidance.
SSCOBA President Mr. Mahesh Fonseka and Treasurer Mr. Dinesh Ketiparachchi handed over the two trolleys to the Panadura Base Hospital.
Complying with its social responsibility, SSCOBA, under the leadership of the current President Mr. Mahesh Fonseka supported the community by implementing many projects during the pandemic and SSCOBA has already committed to make some more equipment donations to Panadura Base Hospital within the next few days.

SSCOBA Donates an ICU Bed and 10 Wireless Bells to Kethumathi Maternity Hospital to Battle with COVID-19
Old Boys’ Association of Sri Sumangala College (SSCOBA) donated an ICU bed and ten wireless bells to Kethumathi Maternity Hospital to support their fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. We take this opportunity to thank the attorney-at-law Mr. Amila Nawalage – Joint Secretary of SSCOBA and his wife Mrs. Nishadi Rodrigo for fully sponsoring the expenses of the ICU bed.
Complying with its social responsibility, SSCOBA has been serving the old boys, college students, and the community in numerous ways from the onset of the first wave of COVID-19. We distributed dry rations to needy old boys, students, and the community. The SSCOBA also assisted and implemented Online Learning for college students through Microsoft Teams & Office 365 and offered the same solution to the students of Royal College, Panadura as well.
